Textile Designer working in River Studios
Emma Lynas is a lecturer on the BA Textile Design program at RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. Emma has been teaching studio-based courses since 2006 with a focus on combining traditional media techniques with digital technologies.
Emma is a graduate of the RMIT BA textile design program, holds a postgraduate UTAS Bachelor of Teaching and has experience working in the commercial textile design sector.
She is currently working on a PhD research project that uses slow design to explore ways for Textile Designers to create more meaningful connections between people and material possessions.
