ELOISE LINKLATER

Print-based Artist working in River Studios

About Eloise

I am a print based artist who studied Fine Art (Printmaking) at RMIT and has participated in various group exhibitions, art prizes and print exchanges both locally and internationally. After graduating and enjoying the wonderful facilities and guidance at both RMIT and the Australian Print Workshop where I was fortunate enough to receive the Collie Print Trust Scholarship, I am looking forward to my time at Rivers Studios where I can continue to produce work in a professional capacity with other practising artists.

How will you use your studio?

Through adopting both traditional printmaking techniques and combining these with digital elements, I am interested in looking at patterns in nature and the way we perceive our world from different perspectives. Macro/micro looking, the relationship between science and art, natural and synthetic are themes I am continually exploring in my work. I plan to use my space to further investigate these ideas on both a conceptual and physical level. Having plenty of light and space for both my press and my books, I feel my studio is the perfect environment to facilitate my creativity.
