PETER GHIN - CULTURAL VALUE
Writer and Consultant working in Meat Market
Established in 2008, Cultural Value is a hybrid management consultancy and creative practice. Set up as an enterprise aspiring to do business differently, today it is a reflection of a desire to bring business and the arts together in away that is generative for organisations and individuals. Peter Ghin, cofounder and director, has had a long relationship with the arts and, together with his experience in organisational development, he works with arts organisations to navigate the strategic challenges faced by the sector in the current social and political climate.
Cultural Value also produces and supports diverse creative works and Peter continues to work on his own writing projects. He has previously won the non-fiction category of the City of Melbourne’s Lord Mayor’s Creative Writing Prize and was fortunate enough to have been awarded a Varuna writing fellowship to continue developing his first long form manuscript.
In the spirit of life-long learning, Peter is currently undertaking a PhD at the Centre for Workplace Leadership within the Faculty of Business & Economics at The University of Melbourne. His research is focused on the role of physicality in organisational life; specifically the relationship between physical health and wellbeing and leadership.
