1000 Degrees Glass Studios is an exciting creative space for artists & designers to realise their concepts in glass.
All areas of the studio are open to experienced casual users whether it be a kiln firing, space for a photo shoot or an hour or more of cold working.
Glass Forming Kilns for casting, fusing, slumping and enamelling of metals
A purpose built Glass Grinding & Polishing Workshop with Lathe & wheels, Linisher & Belts, Drill Press & Drill Bits, Engravers, Cerium & Cork Lathe, Flat Bed & Diamond Disks & a Diamond Saw.

The studio also offers a Firing Service for glass and limited ceramics, and glass casting services for artists.
There are up to five resident artists based at 1000 Degrees at any one time creating a vibrant and supportive creative collective. The studios are situated on the fringe of industrial Moorabbin within close proximity to kiln forming suppliers, hot shops, manufacturers and hardware stores.
Pricing varies depending on equipment used.
Users of the workshop need to supply a copy of a current certificate of Public Liability Insurance.
Studio access is available for hire by the hour & by appointment.
