Castor & Pollux

Type of space: Office Space, Co-Working Space, Hot Desk, Visual Art Studio

Castor & Pollux (sometimes affectionately referred to as Castro & Bollocks) is a VERY small creative/co-working space in the heart of Richmond. A ten minute walk from Richmond station and the ever-vibrant & de-footballing Swan St, we're sandwiched between an array of great cafes, nightlife, and photography gear hire places.

Castor & Pollux is owned & managed by photographer Oli Sansom, and is available for the following:

    • Permanent desk residents

We have a wonderful natural-light warehouse window, and tiny chillout area in an open plan amongst a few large desks, and pride ourselves on a relaxed but productive creative atmosphere. What matters in a small shared space is that its residents get along and make the most of the space, so if this fits your vibe, make an enquiry, and tell us a little about what you want to do here.

    • Warehouse style window with plenty of natural light
    • Bathroom & kitchen
    • A couch for those all important nana naps
    • Airtunes / record player for ambience
    • Internet

    The damage

    • Large desks (shared, 2 per desk at a diagonal): $50 pw / $200 PCM + GST
    • Large desks (non-shared, 1 per desk): $80 pw / $320 PCM + GST

Things worth knowing (please read before enquiring!):

Typical to any open-plan-warehouse type vibe and subject to that classic Australian lack of insulation, heating is not a strong point. In winter, its chilly. Bring a little convection heater.

    Parking Notes

In true Richmond style & further with the onslaught of this ill-engineered suburbs ongoing gentrification, parking is the devil. There are plenty of 2 hour spots around and some coveted 4 hour spots which can occasionally be snared very nearby.
