CORNELIAN BAY PARK
Historically a government farm which provided produce and grazing land for the growing colony, Cornelian Bay is now a picturesque embayment to the north of the City of Hobart. It provides a popular and unique coastal experience close to the heart of the city.
Facilities include sheltered barbeque areas, toilets, play equipment and ample lawn area. The park overlooks the Tasman Bridge, historic boatsheds and the bay, which is used for sailing and water recreation. Cornelian Bay provides the perfect space for film shoots, creative community events, poetry readings, light installations, musical events and craft markets.
