Space overview

Nestled within the beautiful landscape of St. David’s Park and in close proximity to both the waterfront and the city centre, the 1926 St. Davids Park Rotunda lies within a delightful inner city parkland of majestic trees and cured gardens.

A former cemetery (1804-1872) that was redeveloped in the 1920s, St. David’s Park is a notable and popular outdoor area within Hobart and the site of many major events.

The rotunda lends itself to musical performances, poetry readings and circus acts with removable balustrading allowing for the use of scaffolding to create an additional stage area.
