    Milieu is proud to introduce HARRISON PL.  − a considered workspace in Fitzroy  designed to meet the needs of a collaborative community. This collection of five individual studios housed in a historically significant building is suitable for small to medium desk-based businesses.

    HARRISON PL. is designed to accommodate a community of creative and other practices. The product of collaboration between Milieu and Therefore Studio, this is a workspace where the design and opportunity for interaction promotes the creative and entrepreneurial spirit. 

    Rich in history, this building has long been a place of fruitful activity. A former cordial factory, it was constructed in 1882 for local manufacturer Robert Harrison, and was a manufacturer of cordials and aerated waters in Melbourne until the 1950s. 

    Reimagined in sympathy with its heritage, the interior is now a contemporary workspace, framed by a palette of curated materials with furnishings by Artek, Hugh McCarthy and Henry Wilson, artworks by Dan Hocking, Tom Blachford and Kate Ballis, a kitchen by Flack Studio and plants by Loose Leaf.

    The considered floor plan with three studios downstairs, two upstairs and adjoining communal indoor and outdoor spaces was designed to foster a dynamic and nurturing environment for those who occupy and interact with HARRISON PL. We believe that when people are in the right place, and everyone starts talking, good things can happen. 

    We are hopeful these studios will provide a functional workspace, as well as the conditions for new ideas to flourish.

    III. HARRISON PL. offers a full range of workspace amenities. Each studio can be furnished and has access to natural light, airflow and internet utilities. Shared facilities include a meeting room, kitchen, and bathrooms, with a shower, and courtyard bike parking.
