Nestled in behind Thornbury's Little Tienda Cafe, a reformed butcher shop, is the orignal 1950's butchers dwelling. Comprised of an art deco style lounge room, 2 bedrooms, small kitchen and fully renovated marble bathroom, this humble abode catches beautiful north aspect sunlight year round. A private patio for studio tenants adjoins the new cafe courtyard. Separate entry via Mansfield St, or Station St available (but you're always welcome to enter through the cafe and say hello and grab a cuppa on your way in :) ). There are 3 rooms available unfurnished to like minded creative indivuduals who want to be a part of this amazing little community. Access to the house is strictly limited to tenants and cafe owners, tenants are welcome to install padlocks for privacy/security.
We opened Little Tienda Thornbury in September 2018. We serve Thornbury's best coffee (by Proud Mary) and delicious California/Mexican Breakfast and lunch with the occasional evening affair. We love our locals, it's a great community of kind and interesting people. There's a convenient little "Super Friendly Supermarket" that has quite literally anything you could ever need in a pinch (including an aisle with nipple clamps and furry handcuffs to be found just next to all your cleaning needs). A Laundrymat, some possibly sketchy massage parlors and a Fish n' Chips shop just across the road; plus the pharmacy featuring the lovely Pauline in her 90's powersuits ready to cure any ailment just two doors down. Mr. Chau on the corner offers cheap food and priceless life advice. High Street is about a 15 minute walk, and a couple of busses stop just around the corner.
The light filled rooms are all very decent sizes and range in price accordingly. Large windows face onto the courtyard, and can be frosted for privacy at no additional cost, per tenant request.

The Lux Lounge: 4.9 x 3.3 / $710 pcm
Prices are inclusive of utilities and internet. We are into upgrading to NBN in the near future. Discounts in the cafe will apply for our tenants :) There is also some storage available in our nonsecured shed if needed (negiotable).
At this stage we have temporary licensing for events, and are in the process of applying for permanent licensing.
We are asking for a minimum 3 month commitment.
Plenty of residential street parking with no restrictions and a 1P carpark in front.
