This room is a feature of the heritage building designed originally as a gymnasium for seafarers and is now available for corporate and private functions, exhibitions, product launches, live performance and all manner of public events.
Seats up to 75 people for an in-the-round performance or comfortable sit down dinner and up to 120 people for a cocktail-style celebration.
20% discount offered to not-for-profit organisations

Liquor Licence in place.
Kitchen available to hire for catering
Security required for (most) events over 100 people.
The Hirer shall not cause any physical or other damage to the venue or to the reputation of the MTSV.
The Hirer is responsible for the behaviour of its patrons and contractors and must ensure that they comply with the terms and conditions of the Agreement.
Any damaged goods or repair work will be paid for by hirer.
External providers must hold Public Liability Insurance and any incident occurring at the event is the responsibility of the Hirer.
A deposit of 20% of the total hire charge will be billed on confirmation of the venue hire agreement. If the booking is cancelled by hirer within 14 days of hire date this deposit will be forfeited.
The MTSV reserves the right to charge a (refundable) cleaning fee.
