Peter Kovacsy Studio

Type of space: Darkroom, Design Studio, Multi-use Space, Visual Art Studio, Manufacturing/Fabrication Space, Makerspace (Shared open space for making)

Ever dreamt of having a creative holiday in a location with a fully equipped studio and workshop - this could be just what your've waiting for!   Pemberton is a small town surrounded by Karri forest and farm land, in the Southern Forest Region of Western Australia.

As a practicing artist and designer maker Peter Kovacsy will be on hand to provide professional development, tuition and mentoring if you need support. The Studio workshop is equipped with modern glass fusing and casting furnaces, Swedish made Logosol wood joinery machinery, classic European style work benches and fine wood working hand tools.

If your seriously into film photography - the studio also features a traditional  "wet darkroom" for black-and-white silver gelatine film developing and fibre based paper print making.

Peter Kovacsy's art work is represented in national and international collections including the Art Gallery of Western Australia and Detroit Institute of Art. Peter draws inspiration from observations concerning the phenomena of light on landscape and forest surrounding my studio in Pemberton.
