Splinter is available for daytime hire as a film location or performance art space, rehearsal space, or anything it needs to be. The main warehouse space is approx 270m2 with concrete floor, brick and metal walls, blacked out windows and options for mood lighting or house lights. The furniture and equipment is moved to one side providing a large concrete floor space, often used for rehearsal and perfomance art or launches. There are also 4 suspension points rated to 1T each.
Splinter Dungeon has a number of themed rooms:
2x comfortable upstairs lounge rooms of approx 50m2 each provide a relaxed quiet space.
2x ground level medical themed rooms, one with a hospital theme, each of around 20m2
Entrance way with front desk and cloakroom
3x unisex toilets
Photo shoots: $40 per hour, with a 4 hour minimum. Deposit due at time of booking, $200.
Meetings using only the upstairs lounges: $30 per hour, with a $4 hour minimum. Deposit due at time of booking, $150.
Private event, Monday through Thursday: $50 per hour, with a 4 hour minimum. Deposit due at time of booking, $200. Each additional hour over the 4 hour minimum, $45 per hour.
Private event, Friday, Saturday or Sunday: $65 per hour, with a 4 hour minimum. Deposit due at time of booking, $250. Each additional hour over the 4 hour minimum, $55 per hour.
Special events in excess of 8 hours, including decorating and cleaning can be negotiated to a special rate.
Cleaning is available for $50 for upstairs lounges only, or $150 for the entire venue, however, should any food or decorations be left behind, they will be disposed of unless agreed with The Where House prior to the event.
Owner/staff member must be present at all times
Venue is available only during hours not booked for club events. Nearly all weekdays are available, occasional Sundays, sometimes 1 Saturday a month
Ample parking available outside of 9-5 M-F hours
