Hi there, we have a slightly unusual offering. We are two artists, who are looking to share our home with a creative mind.
Two rooms are included in the rent price. It is up to you which way round you choose to utilise the set up.
1st room is approx 3x3m, carpeted, it has your usual bedroom door, and then a sliding door which opens to your second room. This 1st room has no windows, just two doors!
2nd room is approx 5 x 4m, carpeted (but we can come up with a workaround if this is not suitable) it has a large window overlooking sydney road, and a rotating fan too.
It could work well as a bedroom and then a studio in the other room. It would suit an artist who paints with non toxic, or smelly paints (no spray paint), a printer - who can use the printing facilities downstairs after hours, some one who makes music. If you need a lightfilled room for making work, or a windowless room for editing and making music this could be a useful space for you. Also, if your aiming to run a business (yes I know artists run businesses) but what i mean is, if you aiming to have people coming and going from your studio in order to view, purchase or pick up items on daily/relatively often basis this is probably not the right space.
The rooms are located in the residential area of the property, hence the studio and dwelling. You would be living above an open access screen print space - which will be open 3 days a week
Available from Mid December. Individuals $290 for both rooms, and couples welcome $310 for both rooms.
Bills will be split 3 ways, or 4 ways with a couple. We are in our 30's, work part timeas a Screenprint Tutor and Art Facilitator, and spend quite a bit of time drinking tea and drawing, and eating delicious snacks in coburg. Both vegetarian, but if your not thats ok. number 19 tram is outside. Address listed is very close by. This is a home aswell as a studio so exact details will be revealed.
Individual renting is 290 p/w plus bills
Couple renting is 310 p/w plus bills
As this is a residential property a bond is required, and also 5 weeks notice prior to moving out. Ideally we are looking for someone to be there for 6 months to a year. With have a2 year lease on this space so if its feels right then there is an option to stay longer.

The car park is behind the address, it is a little tricky to manoeuvre into the spot. so a smaller vehicle would be more user friendly. it involves two 90 degree manoeuvres in a relatively tight spot.
