The Art Room now consists of THREE massive studio spaces in Precinct 75, St.Peters. All three suites offer great creative spaces with varying sizes available for rent. The studios are white, light, and airy. High ceilings and wooden floorboards with great industrial character and charm.
A fantastic self contained lockable 24m2 ( 5.3 x 4.6m) studio space filled with natural light is available end of March 2018. Current occupant is a print and homewares design label.
This spot is light and lovely, has a bank of high windows and plenty of wall space upon which to work. It has a new ceiling fan and plenty of power points and would suit any artist ,designer, maker or small business wanting to separate home from work and enjoy all the benefits of working within our creative community. Rent includes FAST FIBRE WIFI and GST for which you will be issued a full tax receipt for your records. Utility bills are split fairly between us all quarterly. Lovely new meeting room you can use for free.
The Art Rooms are first floor with stairs and a cage goods lift for easy 24\7 access. Plenty of free parking within the complex or a short walk from either Sydenham or St. Peters train stations. Access to a GoGet car onsite. If you want to cycle to work there is a new shower block and bike racks for your convenience. Precinct 75 is well serviced and secure with CCTV cameras and a well lit carpark and its not creepy at night to work after dark!
The Art Rooms have great kitchenette facilities, with clean unisex toilet with hot and cold water. All 3 studios have two sinks. One for tea and cake, the other for paint.
You would be joining our creative collective which now consists of , an interior architect, two painters, two illustrators, a textile designer, two fashion designers, a graphics design team, a PR team, an architect team, and a business coach, The Art Room has a website and FB and Instagram pages to help collective promotion and collaborative projects. Being an Art Roomie is much more than just renting a studio space.
Any applicant must be not too noisy or smelly in what they do! No sleepovers are permitted. The Art Room and Precinct 75 is strictly a no smoking area.
Precinct 75 is the creative hub to all sorts of colourful characters and so having a studio here is a real treat. Everyone from photographic studios, designers, film makers, painters, fashion designers and even a papermaker. It is the home to The Urban Winery, Willie the Boatman, Sample Coffee, The Rice Pantry and lots of funky shops. Its now a highly sought after studio destination.
