I am the studio manager of The Art Room Studios in St. Peters, a co-working creative space in the old Taubman's paint factory, now called Precinct 75. Spaces are full of natural light and have great industrial charm. If you are looking for a non - corporate place to work, we have a range of spaces to meet your needs.
My best space, dripping with natural light will be available really soon!
It is 25m2, rectangular. Light, white, clean and lovely. High ceilings, freshly painted wooden floorboards. Current occupant is a photographer. Would suit any artist, maker, creative or small business team needing to leave home but not necessarily wanting to be working alone.
Access is 24/7. Free carpark. Easy 10 mins walk to either Sydnenham or St. Peters trainstations. GoGet car on site. Plenty of bike racks and a new shower unit if you would rather use your legs to get to work.
All studios are 1st floor with a goods cage lift for heavy stuff.
All studios have a well equiped kitchenette with two sinks, one for tea and cake and the other for messy stuff. The Art Rooms have a shared kitchen and relaxing area with a new drinking water cooler installed. Access to a clean unisex toilet with hot and cold water.
The Art Room and Precinct 75 is a strictly NO SMOKING environment. NO SLEEPOVERS are allowed, and no one too smelly or noisy in what they do need apply!
We have just created a lovely professional meeting space if you wish to meet customers at work but not necessarily within your space.
Rent includes gst and new super fast fibre wifi, and all spaces come with instant supportive and inspiring creative family! We have an Art Room website, a FB and instagram page and like to encourage collaboration, and a sharing of our various skills and networks.
The Precinct itself is home to all sorts of creative characters including stylists, film makers, sound recording studios and photographers. Our lovely neighbours include Willie the Boatman craft beer, Sample Coffee shop that grinds its own beans, a great new Vietnamese called Ricebowl and we even an axe-throwing gym on site, yes really!! Precinct 75 has quarterly artisan markets you can be part of.
Having a studio space here is a real treat. let Helen know if you would like more details or a time to view.
