The Button Factory is a 1950's brick factory now being used as a creative space for woodwork, ceramics, photography, dance, music and events. A cafe is in the building on the ground floor serving breakfast, lunch, snacks and, of course, coffee.
There are several spaces available for use - an indoor industrial-style carpark of 100sqm, an indoor garden space of 85sqm, a dance studio of 80sqm, a ceramics studio of 80sqm, a woodwork studio of 80 sqm, heaps of props for your use and a beautifully light filled area upstairs of 350sqm, painted white with soaring metal-truss roof. This area is ideal for so many different purposes.
A change room with make-up area and hanging space adjoins the female toilet area. There is a range of photography accessories available for rent if required for your shoot. When booking an area for the full day you have access (bookings permitting) to the entire factory for your purposes.
All prices for each of the spaces can be negotiated to hopefully suit your budget.
There may be a cleaning deposit on booking, fully refundable if the area is left as found.
Parking is available on the street or in the carpark of Dan Murphy's on the corner of Bay Rd and Hamlet St. A lift is installed within the building for unloading and transporting to the first floor.
