ACACIA St

Welcome to ACACIA St ! A space for woodworkers, craftsmen, musicians, artists and creators of all sorts! We are offering a few semi-open workshop spaces on a large open plan. This is an large warehouse setup with a common area, lots of storage space and an outdoor section. Any crafts, hobby or small business activity is welcome as long we can all tolerate each others' space. Currently, 3 spots available, starts at 180$ a week. The policy is very simple: no locking contract, no background check. 2 weeks bond - rent paid every Monday for the week. 2 weeks notice prior leaving. All bills are inclusive of the price (electricity / water / high speed internet).   We want to create a friendly and positive work environment between small-sized creatives businesses. The idea is to support each other as well as benefiting from larger working space, shared tools and a global sinergy that should all help us running a more successful business whilst maintaining a good life-work balance! We are planning to host public events that shall involves one or more of the businesses, open door days, samples sales, or any other event that shall help us benefits form more exposure. We are located in a very friendly area with lots of trees, lots of grass space at the front, off street parking and a really nice light exposure, also protected from the wind most days of the year. It's an ideal location for a small/starting activity that is ready for that leap from hobby to business, or even a well-established one person runned business like a jeweller, a woodworker or the like...  There is also a possibility of getting your own signage onto the street if required.  Currently we have a lady who is a fashion designer, a gentleman who is setting up to repair and design lamps, and myself who is building and repairing guitars. I would love to find someone who fits nicely in this little work pod we have here! I am always enclines to help a new member setup and feel welcome by giving guidance, advice or even a hand to help with building or setting up shop, I know how daunting that can be.
