Details:
The Banyule Arts Space is an intimate, beautifully restored art deco theatre situated in the heart of Ivanhoe. The space is available for use as an exhibition performance and rehearsal space. The venue has a hanging system in place, good quality lighting, polished wood floors, bar area and a catering standard kitchen upstairs.
The venue is 21 metres long, 8.9 metres wide and also features a small stage with a baby grand piano (cannot be removed from stage).
The space is currently home to the Ivanhoe Makers Markets (3rd Saturday of every month) and rotational exhibitions from Banyule's collections. It also hosts many of the events of the Winter in Banyule Arts Festival (annually in August).
