Experimedia offers designer furnishings and fittings and new media technology in a spacious bluestone-walled courtyard. A major feature of the space is the large media wall (6m x 4.5m) which can be used for audiovisual presentations. It can accommodate up to 180 people for a sit-down dinner or 350 people for a cocktail party and 250 theatre style.

Experimedia can also be hired in conjunction with the adjacent Keith Murdoch Gallery outside of the Library's opening hours, offering an impressive entrance to your function and the opportunity for private gallery viewings. The gallery hosts temporary exhibitions drawn from the Library’s rich collections as well as significant touring shows from other cultural institutions.
