Built in 1875 Her Majesty's Theatre has been continuously in use as Ballarat's focus for the performing arts. The Theatre is used for performances by commercial and local hirers; is the home of the annual Royal South Street Eisteddfod competitions; and presents productions selected from the National Touring circuit.
