The ICU is a subterranean space devoted to live arts research and presentation. It occupies the basement of an ex hospital in Castlemaine - Central Victoria.
It is fitted with a ceiling grid, separated 3 phase power, an earth wall, a green room, a meeting room and is part of the dynamic small business hive known as Workspace where the sought after world famous cafe - 'Coffee Basics' and renowned bakery 'Sprout' are situated.
Live Arts organisation, Punctum, develops its own works at the ICU and also manages it for the many sponsored and hiring artists who use the space to research and present their work throughout the year.
