Each year the Whitehorse Centre presents the Whitehorse Professional Theatre and Music Season - featuring quality entertainment from all over Australia. The 2006 season includes a wide variety of productions, including Drama, Dance, Comedy, Children’s Shows and Concerts. The Whitehorse Centre is also home to a number of community and non-professional groups who hire the theatre for their annual performances, theatre seasons, showcases and competitions.
The professional facilities at the Whitehorse Centre include:
408-seat theatre auditorium (with extensive technical facilities, orchestra pit and counterweight flying system). Multipurpose meeting and function room. Two Ballet studios. A grassed amphitheatre suitable for outdoor concerts. Commercial kitchen. Good-sized Foyer with theatre bar.
