List a Space
If you own, lease or manage a space that you think might be suitable for an artist or performer to develop or show their work, you should list your space under one of the categories below. You will need to register before you can list your space.
Spaces that already exist as an arts space and are managed by an individual or organisation. They are available 'for hire' for a set period of time. They include theatre, sound studio or rehearsal room etc.
Creative work spaces that are listed by real estate agents such as warehouses, basements, office floors etc. These spaces usually entail a commercial lease and are not for residential occupancy.
Spaces that need additional tenants to keep costs down / Spaces that are available for lease from an existing lease holder.
Most of these spaces are available for short term and require some renovation such as partitioning, painting or cleaning. The City of Melbourne brokers the relationship between building owner and artist and uses this register to source suitable tenants for these spaces.
