Boyd School Studios

Boyd School Studios houses artists and creatives in light filled studios in Southbank. Please enquire to be added to the waiting list for when studios become available.

Boyd School Studios feature large windows and natural light, and are private and lockable. The studios accommodate artists and creatives of various disciplines.

Creative Spaces manages six artist studios, while two are reserved for the artist in residence program managed by the City of Melbourne Arts Grants Program. 

Boyd School Studios in Southbank is situated within a multi-use facility that includes the Southbank Library, KereKere café and meeting rooms. The site explores the relationship between knowledge, health and culture as drivers for the creation of a healthy, vibrant and inclusive community. Creative Spaces manages the artist studios in Boyd and serves as the cultural anchor for the overall site.

Residencies at Boyd Heritage 

The use of Boyd Studio-1 and the Boyd Garret studio are currently offered through the City of Melbourne Arts Grants Program as 6-12 month residencies.
