Collins Street Studios

Creative businesses, organisations and practitioners are invited to rent office space at Collins Street Studios.

Collins Street Studios EOI Round 2 is now open.

In partnership with the Victorian Government, the City of Melbourne's Creative Spaces program is launching its first creative hub in the heart of the city, offering more affordable and adaptive spaces to support the creative sector.

Located at 271 Collins Street, the new Collins Street Studios hub will transform a vacant open plan office into a diverse collection of spaces for creative businesses, organisations and practitioners with licences to commence in early 2024.

This is a rare opportunity to co-locate your practice within a creative hub environment that can host over 100 creative workers, provide a platform for collaboration, the sharing of ideas, resources and skills and help boost creative sector careers and practices.

There is 1125m2 of spaces available at below market rates for creatives whose work is suited to an office environment.

We are seeking expressions of interest from creative organisations and individuals who are looking to relocate to the city.

Expressions of interest for our opening round have closed.

We also welcome organisation or individuals working in partnership who may wish to share a space. In this instance, one application with all parties’ details is to be submitted.

Please note, this space will not suit public facing organisations such as galleries, or artists that have practices that require wet work or hard arts practices.

Individuals must inspect the site prior to submitting an expression of interest.

In order to submit an EOI, you must attend one of the following walkthroughs:

Tuesday 22 August 11am
