Artist working in River Studios

About Rosina

I am a 26-year-old artist and Higher Degree Research (Masters of Fine Art) candidate at Monash University. My work is concerned with sculpture and performance. I see my artwork as sociological research. I focus on the capacity for individual's to change the way the body is perceived as a sexualised object. I experiment with sculptural works that cause an audiences body to experience a subtle change. I also practice social exchanges, such as free forearm massaging, as a mode of performance art.

How do you use your space?

I use my space to modify found objects, create text based paintings, practice performance, make low-fi videos and read and write.

It is also a fantastic meeting place to have a coffee or tea with old friends who also have studios at River.
