What attracted you to the space and what makes your studio suitable for your practice?
I was attracted to the space after a visit to Craft Cubed open studios. Current licensee, Katie Starkey spoke highly of the makers community and how it has benefited her practice.
The studio will provide me with a dedicated makers space for the creation of new work for a solo exhibition, including; experimental practice, research, development, and refinement.
In addition to this it will provide me with; a temporary viewing space; a meeting space; the ability to work alongside a community of makers; the opportunity to participate in promotional events and advocate Creative Spaces.
