About

I’m a deaf artist creating expressionistic tactile sculptures, ceramics, painting and digital media. I was a recent finalist in the 2021 National Emerging Artist Awards, ceramics (NEAP). Two ceramic sculptures were selected as finalists in the NSW Fishers Ghost Art Award in the contemporary and open sections. And artworks in the Victorian 2020 Klytie‐Pate biennale ceramics award (both exhibitions taking place in 2021). I completed an Advanced Diploma of Ceramics at NSW TAFE in Gymea, 2021 and was awarded a Statement of Excellence. I recently exhibited artworks in Hazlehurst art gallery, Movers and Shapers II, women’s exhibition, and in January 2022 at Ceramics and Emotions, exhibition, at Kudos Gallery, Comber St venue. In my past life, I worked as a digital media Art Director. I have an MFA in electronic and temporal art from USYD (SCFA). And a BFA with a design major from UNSW COFA.
