WXYZ Studios are stunning, light-filled studios in North Melbourne, available for rehearsals, workshops, events and informal performances.
Studio One is the main space, providing 186 sq m of purpose-designed dance studio with west-facing views over the docklands through the industrial windows. White brick walls contrast to the dark roof, it’s a desirable location for filming and photoshoots. The studio has a fully sprung floor with a reversible vinyl Tarkett floor and black drapes along two sides, allowing privacy & flexibility with natural lighting. A sound system with a multi-channel mixer is provided, no mirrors are available. High speed wifi, kitchen facilities and change rooms including showers are available to all hirers. Studio One is available for ad hoc bookings, regular/weekly bookings cannot always be booked. UNAVAILABLE 9am-12pm weekdays. Studio One is not a suitable venue for parties or social gathering events. Studio One is wheelchair accessible, with step-free access throughout the studios, kitchen and change room areas. There is an accessible bathroom with toilet and shower with shower seat.
Our space is located within walking distance to great cafes, bakeries and shops and is easily accessible by public transport.
