Originally part of Hobart’s majestic City Hall, this converted warehouse space has been used for a diverse range of activities, most curiously a drive-through green grocer.
The building now focuses on more creative community activities and caters for up to 225 people with a range of facilities, including an art studio, art gallery walls, music studio, kitchen, versatile recreation space, a recording studio, and performance stage with a public address system.
The Centre, commonly called Youth ARC, is the perfect venue for youth-orientated cultural and creative projects such as visual arts, dance, music events and workshops.
Community and not-for-profit rates also available.
This is a drug and alcohol free venue.
