Missing Persons is an independent multi-arts space located in the Nicholas Building in Melbourne. The community-driven space encourages flexible and experimental programming across art forms.
ABOUT: Missing Persons is a 67 square metre art space in the iconic Nicholas Building. It is a clean space with white walls, a striking oxblood floor, and large industrial steel windows. The space has two ceiling fans, a cold water tap and sink, a wooden cabinet/bar on wheels, and fluorescent and gallery track lighting. OPERATING HOURS: We operate 7 days per week + after-hour access. Missing Persons is utilised for one-off and regular events such as life drawing, photography, private and public workshops, book launches, pop-up retail, dance or theatre rehearsals, and productions, plus more. FACILITIES: Missing Persons is fitted with a surround sound system and WiFi. We can provide POS hardware, 4 trestle tables, and 33 folding chairs at no extra cost.
Missing Persons is situated in the Nicholas Building on the corner of Swanston Street and Flinders Lane. Find us on level 4 in room 11-12.
AFTER-HOURS:
The Nicholas Building is open to the public from 8am-8.30pm on weekdays and 8am-5pm on weekends. Outside of these hours, a swipe card is required for 24-hour access. Please let us know if you'd like to access the building after-hours and we can provide you with a swipe card.
