Space overview
Geelong's foremost and largest gallery for photography and darkroom for black-and-white photography. Two gallery spaces are available. The small entrance gallery is 40 sq m with approx 22 linear m of wall hanging space. Ceiling height in entrance gallery is 2.5m and there is a large screen (45") TV mounted on one wall. The entrance gallery is also airconditioned/heated and there is a small kitchenette with boiling hot water. Hire fee for the entrance gallery is $100 per day or $350 per week. The main gallery is very large, at 160 sq m, with five mobile partitions and a total of approx 80 linear meters of hanging space. Ceiling height is over 4m. The mobile partitions and one wall are approx 2.2m high. Very even illumination makes this an ideal gallery or event space for product launches, group functions, seminars, etc. There is a kitchen attached with basic heating and cooking facilities. Hire of the main gallery is $400 per day or $1,500 per week.
