Space overview
The Lone Palm Lab is a cosy studio space equipped with all things recording, mixing and podcasting, designed to be the perfect workplace for musicians and creatives. It is acoustically treated wall-to-wall, comfortably furnished and filled with the essential hardware for great sounding records.
Built by veteran Spotify audio engineer Trent Williamson, construction engineer Joel Basham and recording artist Jamyang, the Lab has been created as a comprehensive recording studio for producers/vocalists/podcasters. The space is 4.5m x 2.2m, allowing up to 4 people to work comfortably in the room. The room is walled on all sides by acoustic insulation to maintain a quiet and comfortable space to record in, with a polished concrete floor covered by a plush shag rug. The Lab has been constructed within a secure storage facility, with 24-hour access and gated parking. It is situated on the quiet end of the bustling Booth Street hub of Camperdown, with all food and drink amenities just a short walk away. A bus station is at the end of the street.
