Space overview
An open, industrial maker's space connected to a maker's collective/gift shop! Your Locals offers workshop spaces for local makers to teach and/or create, as well as sell their items in major shopping centres. Our Docklands store is our biggest and newest project with the help of Renew Australia.
Well lit, exposed warehouse ceiling, concrete floors, wall to ceiling windows. We have provided oak & black tables and chairs to match the blank slate and creative atmosphere. Aprons, easels, washing up sink, change rooms, point of sale, and a teacher's table is all provided and access to toilets is not an issue. The YL Workshop is connected to the Your Locals Docklands store. This can be divided off, or open to public.
In the heart of The District Docklands, Your Locals and the YL Workshop is located within walking distance of the docks, Southern Cross, Marvel Stadium.
The centre offers a tram stop within the Free Tram Zone, parking, and plenty of retail, restaurants and entertainment.
