I am an award-winning, Australian-trained videographer, fine art photographer and printmaker with competition, exhibition and publishing credits. After working for many years in the video production, exhibition and distribution industry, I re-trained in photography during 2014 and have been working in this field ever since. In 2019 I discovered the process of photopolymer etching and took part in a series of intensive workshops during 2020/21 with UK and Australian master-printers to learn/develop the skills of this fascinating method of displaying and enhancing my photographs. In Melbourne, my photopolymer etching 'mentors' are Dianne Longley of Agave Studio and Silvi Glattauer of Baldessin Studio. I have recently purchased a customised etching press that has been installed in the studio I share with another photographer who is also interested in this printmaking process.
