My name is Colin and I'm an artist based in Naarm / Melbourne Australia.
The aim of my work is to teleport viewers to a colourful oasis where you can escape from the mundane.
A place to express yourself, rejuvenate and vacate from reality, especially during recent times.
Inspired by the mid-century modern homes of Palm Springs and surrounds, my love of the area has progressed over the years where I have become fascinated with the relationship between architecture and the vast desert landscapes.
My process involves photographing various objects, textures and settings I find interesting which are then arranged digitally to create 'Desert Tropical' collage scenes.
