With 10 years of experience in the fashion industry, most recently as a production manager, I've managed everything from mass offshore manufacturing down to developing local prototypes for RFT for the Aus Defence Force. Through my business, I offer sample development services all the way through to small bulk production runs. I traded looking at spreadsheets all day for a more hands-on approach and haven't looked back since.
I do this because I absolutely love getting to know the legends behind our local labels and championing a more sustainable approach to our supply chain and the business of fashion as a whole. I grew up in a household where mum sewed, grandma sewed, and so on and so forth. I didn’t love it as a kid as I lacked the patience to sit still, but came to love it as a grown-up, and now carry a great appreciation for self-made things. Sewing is a labour of love, and the process of creating has always been my first love.
