About
I have recently completed Honours Fine Art 2022 in Tasmania. Since then over the summer I completed the Graduate Scholarship with a 3 month residency culminating in an exhibition which will be in March at the Salamanca Arts Centre. I paint in oil and do some digital and miniature model-making. I am interested in figurative art as well as abstract paint textures. My current work relates to chairs, doorways and transient transitions. I am a relief teacher and am interested to network with artists and enjoy art festivals. I plan to do some residencies in the future. My work relates to identity, home, interiors, refugee experiences and the flimsy yet versatile camping chair. I also enjoy painting landscapes with chairs and vans.
