Melbourne Fashion Hub 2022
Join us for Melbourne Fashion Hub's second year as we introduce our new group of incredible multidisciplinary artists and designers from across Melbourne's fashion institutions. Melbourne Fashion Hub, the first initiative of its kind in Australia - is an independent body offering Melbourne fashion students and recent graduates a free open-access program; designed to support emerging fashion talent actively exploring their career’s future direction.
Our 6-week program culminates in the designers applying key learnings during an annual pop-up retail event, where they get to showcase and sell their work. The platform provides access to potential customers and the broader fashion community, intending to create future career pathways.
The floor talk launch and a unique retail pop-up experience will showcase Australia's emerging student design talent. The "I am made for..." launch event will include talks from our practitioners on what environmental, cultural, and social factors influence their practice and process. This will be followed by the weekend pop-up, where attendees will have the opportunity to meet the designers and purchase their unique works.
