Button Pusher is a working music space with a vintage analogue recording studio, a live room and a lounge. The equipment and character of the rooms provide a distinctive setting for recording sessions, rehearsals, photography and film. Projection facilities and large Altec speakers also support listening sessions and screenings. Bands have recorded and performed in the space as part of many live-session films for BP, KEXP and more. Button Pusher has hosted advertising and film productions, fashion editorial shoots, alongside recording sessions, live performances and screenings. An outdoor area is also available.
Plenty Road, Preston, Melbourne. Street parking and loading access are available. Visits and hire are by appointment; please enquire for arrival details.

Guide rates
Recording with engineer from $75/hour or $600 for an eight-hour day. Dry hire available by quotation.
Every project is different. Get in touch to discuss your requirements, scope and budget.
Rehearsals with backline available: $130 for four hours.
Analogue tape recording, live performance filming, and film or photography location hire are available by quotation. Please include your intended use, preferred dates and group size when enquiring.
