Located at 514 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne, City Art offers a unique opportunity to operate your creative business or practice out of a shop front, at below market rates, positioned directly opposite the Queen Victoria Market.
Established in 2024, HAIR is a not-for-profit artist-run initiative dedicated to showcasing contemporary art practices and beyond. Our program prioritises research-driven projects.
HAIR acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land on which we operate, the Wurundjeri Woiwurrung people of the Eastern Kulin nation. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present and honour their enduring connection to their country.
HAIR is supported by Creative Spaces, a program of the City of Melbourne.

Shop 2 is a small space with tiled floors and white walls, ideal for a gallery of retail setting. Large street facing windows with stained glass detailing allow for plenty of natural light. Capacity: Approx. 8 people (based on gallery, exhibition use)
