Collingwood Place sits at 188 Johnston Street, right in the thick of Collingwood — and happily, it's one of the easiest spots in Melbourne to reach without a car. Train — Collingwood Station is a two-minute walk east along Johnston Street. It's on the Mernda and Hurstbridge lines, and you're in the city in about seven minutes. Tram — The 86 runs along Smith Street, and the Johnston/Smith stop is a short four-minute stroll west (past a few very good coffee options, if you've got time). It connects straight into the CBD via Bourke Street. Worth knowing: some 86 trams are older high-floor vehicles, so if step-free access matters, the train is your friend. Bus — Routes 200 and 207 travel along Johnston Street itself, with a stop practically at our door. The 246 runs north–south along Hoddle Street, a couple of minutes east, if you're coming up from Richmond, Prahran or St Kilda. Late nights — If you're here for an evening workshop or event, Friday and Saturday Night Network services have you covered: the 86 tram and both train lines run through the night, plus the 966 night bus along Johnston Street.
Parking
Plenty of free off- street parking along the backstreets off Johnston Street. Also, free 4-hour street parking along the back of the building, down Easey street and Sackville street.
