A blank canvas space situated within the iconic and charming heritage-listed bluestone Henderson House, built in 1987.
A highly versatile space, the Basement Theatre can be used for meetings, presentations, training, parties, weddings, rehearsals, auditions, filming, etc. Located in the lower-level of historic Henderson House, it is a large room with bluestone walls, wooden floors and river-facing windows. The adjoining Basement Lounge has toilet facilities and a small kitchenette containing a fridge, oven, stovetop, zip-boiler and microwave.
Footscray Community Arts is located on the banks of the Maribyrnong River and can be accessed by public transport and car.
