Welcome to Gale Street Studios. Gale Street Studios is an independent, female-led photography and video space in the heart of Brunswick East, Melbourne. Our expansive converted warehouse comprises crisp white walls, painted concrete flooring, high ceilings and south-facing industrial windows that bring in soft natural light all day. With approachable rates and flexible hiring options, Gale Street Studios appeals to photographers and videographers in all stages of their practice. Our studios are ideal for a variety of applications from intimate portraiture, look books and still life, through to larger scale styled productions, film clips and editorial shoots. Our ground floor studio with roller door access makes loading large items a breeze. Well equipped with hair/make-up area, change area, kitchen/bathroom facilities and is within minutes walk to thriving Lygon Street's cafes, restaurants and trams. After shooting, you’ll be sending images to clients at blazing speeds (40Mbps), and downloading even faster (100Mbps) with part-of-the-package NBN. Studio tours arranged by appointment.

Proof of public liability insurance needs to be supplied on booking. COVID safe plans are required.
