Space overview
HodgePodge art lab is a great space for solo art making or working quietly with a large glass facade and double doors. Close to public transport and parking and separate from main warehouse studio. There is lots of foot traffic around the area during rush-hour
well-lit spacious purpose-built shipping container to be used as an art studio. With large glass doors and front facing facade where art work can be seen and displayed in an exhibition style showcase. Plaster walls allow for easy hanging. Air conditioning also installed inside.
Located in the Buckleys Lane carpak behind chemist warehouse and a number of restaurants with a nearby Coles, bakery, butcher and a local park.

The shipping container is not attached to the main warehouse studio which is where the toilet, kitchenette and communal art supplies are located. Key access will be granted to use facilities at the main warehouse.
HodgePodge is a pop-up creative space made possible through the City of Greater Dandenong Art Lab initiative. We will be facilitating access to the Art Lab for the next while. We aim to bring people together, creatives and non-creatives alike, through community engagement, residencies, exhibition displays, workshops and events.
