Space overview
This 70s style ground floor factory accommodates 11 artist studios of various sizes. It features high ceilings with north facing windows to the rear of the factory and large skylights, which fill the space with light.
We have multiple studios available. We have in total: six studios @ 17m2 ($552 per month), one studio is 14m2 ($460 per month), one studio is 13m2 ($415 per month), and another studio is 15sq ($495 per month). At the factory entrance is a large gallery space of 65m2 , with a 4.5m high roller door providing easy access for a car or truck. The gallery, including the wide 2.2m corridor area, provides 30m of wall display space. It is available for our artists to use at no extra cost. The corridors to the studios are 1.5m wide and accommodate a pallet jack with pallet for the use of our artists. It has a fully set up kitchen with sink, microwave, fridge and kettle, along with a BBQ.
The factory is located 3 mins walk from City View Hill within the peaceful Édgars Creek Parkland. Brunetti's is on Newlands Road, only a 4 mins walk. Other cafes and Ritchies IGA are located at Pentridge, 3 mins away by car. The Village Drive-In cinema is less than 1km down the road.
