Space overview
Based in an ex-dance studio in Brunswick East, Mixed Zoning is a multi-use space that encourages creativity, collaboration and experimentation and provides you with the space and support to your bring your ideas to life. We can host anything from meetings to exhibitions and everything in between!
Mixed Zoning is comprised of an entry space that leads into a large open studio space with polished wooden floors. There is a large mirror taking up majority of the south wall which can be used or curtained off. At the end of this space there are stairs that lead up to the bathroom, kitchen and recreational area. The space is well-lit via sky-lights during the day and multiple installed lights for night time use.
Mixed Zoning is located right off of Lygon Street in the heart of Brunswick East. It is a 1 minute walk from the 1 and 6 tram and a 3 minute walk away from the 508 and 506 bus stop. It is close to shops, cafes, restaurants and various other creative businesses.

Parking
If driving, do be aware there is often limited spots on Gale Street as it hosts a mixture of residences and businesses. However, it is close to Lygon street and there is generally parking available within the same block.
