Space overview
Musica Viva Australia's Janette Hamilton Studio is an acoustically-isolated rehearsal, recording and workshop studio located in Zetland.
It is a 60 sq.m. "box within a box". The studio space features a wooden floor, high ceilings and no windows, as well as acoustic panelling on the walls and hung from the ceiling The space is fully air-conditioned and has flexible studio lighting. Acoustic curtains on tracks run along three sides of the studio and can be moved as required. Hire of the studio includes use of the Steinway grand piano, chairs, and large kitchen facilities. A floor plan is available. Recording possibilities can be detailed on application. Recording equipment is not provided, however you may bring your own. Musica Viva Australia's building sits within a residential area, therefore hours are limited to 9am to 8pm.
Musica Viva House is located a short walk from Green Square station on Elizabeth St, Zetland.
