Shopfront has two office spaces available for rent under a licence agreement. Each office space is approximately 19sqm in size and is located within Shopfront’s facility.

Shopfront is located at 86–88 Carlton Parade, Carlton NSW 2218, on the corner of Carlton Parade and High Street.

Our facility contains an 80-seat theatre (max capacity 135), a 45-seat studio space, a multi-purpose room suitable for rehearsals, showings, functions and gallery work, a meeting room, a small outdoor terrace and additional office spaces for Shopfront to co-locate with other arts and community organisations.

The area is mostly residential, with local shops, cafés and professional suites just a short walk away towards Carlton Station. We are very well connected by public transport. Carlton Train Station is only 220 metres (about 3 minutes’ walk) from the building. Kogarah Station (1.2 km) and Allawah Station (1.4 km) are also within a 15-minute walk.

Pricing Terms

The price per year is the price per offered space. Shopfront Arts Co-op will bear the cost of electricity, gas, internet, council rates and routine maintenance to the premises. Shared resources and services are available to tenant organisations as an opt-in arrangement. By opting in, the tenant will be responsible for a share of services costs such as phone, photocopier and office cleaning. These figures are not finalised and are subject to change, however should prospective tenants want to opt in, they are advised to budget: 1. Phone Services: $40 per month ex. GST 2. Cleaning: $45 per month ex. GST 3. Photocopier Usage per page inclusive of paper and toner (if elected): a. $0.08 A4/$0.16 A3 black and white b. $0.65 A4/$1.30 A3 full colour These figures represent a budget for shared costs and are dependent on actual service costs which will be confirmed closer to tenancy. Shopfront will use its best endeavours to minimise costs for shared resources. The tenant will be responsible for any damage caused by the tenant's use of the property.
