Soft Focus House
Space overview
Soft Focus House is a completely renovated one of a kind space in Fitzroy. Housed on the ground floor of an 1880s former garment factory, its 5 metre ceilings + 200sqm of natural light make it a unique + versatile space for photoshoots + other events.
Defined by bespoke lighting, curated furniture and hand sourced objects, Soft Focus House is inspired by the New York lofts of the 1980s. A custom stainless steel bench and kitchen pay homage to the building's industrial beginnings, while semi transparent polycarbonate panels create light filled bathroom + bedroom pods within the larger space. It's simultaneously modern and classical, industrial + tactile. It is a live/work space for our online vintage furniture store, and as such our unique collection of vintage furniture + objects are available for use with any hire.
Fitzroy + Carlton coffee + food are within minutes walking distance, Nicholson + Brunswick st trams, and Johnston St buses. Parliament station 15 min walk away.
